*Einladung zum ersten Swiss Internet Governance Forum (Swiss IGF) - der
nationalen Dialogplattform zur Internet-Politik*



Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren



Das Internet Governance Forum (IGF) ist eine vom zweiten UNO-Weltgipfel zur
Informationsgesellschaft (WSIS) 2005 in Tunis geschaffene globale Plattform
für einen freien Dialog zwischen allen Stakeholdern (Regierungen,
Wirtschaft, Zivilgesellschaft, technische Community und Wissenschaft) über
die Festlegung der Spielregeln im Internet (Internet Governance).



Auch in der Schweiz wird es ab diesem Jahr ein reguläres nationales
Internet Governance Forum (IGF) geben. Für das kommende Swiss-IGF wurde ein
spannendes Programm mit drei Plenen nebst zwei Workshops verabschiedet, das
netzpolitische Fragen mit Bezug zur Schweiz in den Mittelpunkt stellt. Im
Programm geht es insbesondere um komplexe Themen wie Vertrauen,
Privatsphäre, Sicherheit, Konsumentenschutz, Open und Big Data, „.swiss“
sowie Zugang für alle.



*Das Swiss-IGF findet am Dienstag, den 19. Mai, von 09:00 bis 17:45 im
Hotel Ador (Laupenstrasse 15, 3001 Bern) in Bern statt. *BAKOM-Direktor
Philipp Metzger eröffnet die Veranstaltung, einführen ins
Multi-Stakeholder-Modell wird Peter Gruetter, Asut-Präsident. Konzept und
Kontext der Internet Governance wird Markus Kummer, ICANN-Direktor,
erläutern. Die Veranstaltung wird in den Sprachen Deutsch, Französisch und
Englisch durchgeführt. *Nähere Informationen zu Inhalten und Ablauf gibt es

*Invitation au premier Forum suisse sur la gouvernance de l'internet (Swiss
Internet Governance Forum - Swiss IGF), la plateforme nationale de dialogue
sur la politique de l'internet *



Madame, Monsieur,



Le Forum sur la gouvernance de l'internet (Internet Governance Forum - IGF)
a été créé en 2005 à Tunis, suite au deuxième Sommet mondial de l’ONU pour
une société de l’information (SMSI). Il s’agit d’une plateforme mondiale
offrant à tous les milieux intéressés (gouvernements, économie, société
civile, milieux techniques et scientifiques) la possibilité de débattre de
questions relatives à l’élaboration de règles de conduite dans le domaine
de l’internet (gouvernance).



Dès cette année, un forum sur la gouvernance de l'internet sera organisé
régulièrement en Suisse aussi. Pour le prochain IGF suisse, un programme
passionnant comptant trois plénums et deux ateliers a été mis sur pied afin
d'aborder les questions de politique de réseau concernant la Suisse. Les
thèmes traités seront notamment: la confiance, la sphère privée, la
sécurité, la protection des consommateurs, la transparence, les grands
volumes de données, «.swiss» et l'accès pour tous.



*L'IGF suisse se tiendra à Berne le mardi 19 mai, de 9h à 17h45, à l'Hôtel
Ador (Laupenstrasse 15, 3001 Berne).* Il sera ouvert par Philipp Metzger,
directeur de l'OFCOM. Peter Gruetter, président de l'asut, présentera
ensuite le modèle multipartite, puis Markus Kummer, directeur de l'ICANN,
expliquera le concept et le contexte de la gouvernance de l'internet.
L'événement aura lieu en allemand, français et anglais. *De plus amples

*Invitation to the first Swiss Internet Governance Forum (Swiss IGF) - the

Dear Sir or Madam,



The Internet Governance Forum (IGF) is a global platform created in Tunis
in 2005 at the second United Nations World Summit on the Information
Society (WSIS). It enables open dialogue between all stakeholders
(governments, the private sector, civil society, the technical and
scientific communities) regarding establishing the rules of play in
relation to the internet (Internet Governance).



>From this year, Switzerland will also hold a regular national Internet
Governance Forum (IGF). For the upcoming Swiss IGF, an exciting program has
been created with three plenary sessions and two workshops which will focus
on network policy issues related to Switzerland. In particular, the program
will address complex issues such as trust, privacy, security, consumer
protection, Open and Big Data, “.swiss” and access for all.



*The Swiss IGF will take place on Tuesday 19 May, from 09:00 to 17:45, at
