[ISOC-CH Ann] Update: Invitation to General Assembly 2013 (8 March in Bern)

Dear Members

Please be informed about the following updates on our annual General
Assembly 2013:

   1. The final agenda (official part) is now available on:
   http://www.isoc.ch/agenda-general-assembly-2013

   Note:
   - Any further input material will be linked from this page as it gets
      ready.

   2. The final proposal for the Statutes Changes is available on
   http://www.isoc.ch/about/bylaws

   Notes:
      - Those Change Requests highlighted with yellow color were
      controversial in the discussion that took place ahead. All the Change
      Requests in blue color are proposed as consensus (i.e. no objections).
      - Change Requests for statutes were be submitted by 16 February 2013.
      We will only vote on these Change Requests that were received
and published
      in time. Change Requests to the statutes made during the GA will not be
      voted on.

      3. Cisco <http://www.cisco.ch> will sponsor the Apéro taking place
   after the GA. Thanks a lot!

   4. A "WCIT Digest" panel discussion will take place before the GA
   (15:30--17:30).

place on Friday, 8th of March, at the University of Bern.

Around the official part of the GA, we offer an interesting framework
program:

"WCIT digest”

with *Richard Hill* (former Senior Member of the ITU Secretariat), *Markus
Kummer* (Vice President Public Policy of the Internet Society) and possibly
an official representative from the Swiss Government (OFCOM) is scheduled
for the late afternoon.

"Celebrating the International Women Day”

with *Monique Morrow* (Distinguished Consulting Engineer at Cisco Systems
and chair-women of the ITU Joint Coordination Activity on Cloud Computing)
who will give a keynote speech on *"Women leaders in the Internet”*,
followed by a video-message from *Lynn St. Amour* (President and CEO of the
Internet Society).

   additional agenda items by 16 February 2013 (20 days before the GA). If
   you want to make use of this opportunity, please send your proposal to <

      - Is this item subject to vote (yes/no)?
      - Estimation on time required for discussion
      - Name(s) of the proponent(s)
   - Please be aware of that the agenda for the GA is already rather full.
